What is it?
Arizona's Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 are assessed in reading, writing and math.

Students score at one of four levels: falls far below standard, approaches the standard, meets the standard or exceeds the standard. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards.

I think Gilliland is the best school that I've ever gone to,and my favorite. I am in all honors there and get straight A's.It is fun and exciting to go there and learn every day. Another thing that is amazing about Gilliland is there music classes. I am in the 7th grade top band and am first chair flute. We always get superior with distinction (the highest judging there is). I love GMS and always will.
