What is it?
Arizona's Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students in grades 3 through 8 and 10 are assessed in reading, writing and math.
How is it Scored?
Students score at one of four levels: falls far below standard, approaches the standard, meets the standard or exceeds the standard. The goal is for all students to meet or exceed state standards.

Civano Community School is absolutely wonderful! My child loves to go to school everyday because he is valued as an individual who learns in his own ways and time. The classrooms are mixed grade K-1, 2-3, and 4-5 which encourages a strong community! The focus is the development of the whole child, not on testing!

I LOVE Civano Community School! This school provides an excellent, meaningful school experience to students. The emphasis is not on testing and assessment -- kids are primed to learn, explore, and develop 21st century skills. Great small school staffed by excellent, caring teachers!
