About This School

The primary goal of Compass High School is to meet and exceed the Arizona Standards by promoting quality education. It is our mission to encourage our students to discover their own life's path and develop the tools they'll need for their journey. CHS is dedicated to provide each student the opportunity for success by offering an individualized, self-paced program that recognizes the uniqueness of each student in a supportive and accepting environment.

We are an open school of choice and encourage mutual respect and self-control in and out of the classroom. We believe in non-coercive, non-threatening policies. We seek cooperation and communication and define ourselves with how we deal with conflict. We do set boundaries and have a student hand book which spells out the "rules" of our school.

Compass High School Reviews

Quality life skills and applications taught by caring, fun teachers!

By a Former Student on

After three short years and graduating from CHS I can honestly say that, it might not be up to par with conventional high school professionalism and there ideas of learning and teaching environments, but Compass has hit the nail on the head when it comes to understanding students and what's best for their learning needs and truly understand that textbook learning isn't for the majority anymore. Hands on application and personal interest is where learning becomes natural, easy and most importantly FUN! Keep it up Compass!
