About the TERRANOVA
What is it?
The TerraNova is a series of nationally norm-referenced tests that assess general academic knowledge in core subjects, as well as providing national comparisons.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students in grades 2 through 9 are assessed in reading, language arts and math.
How is it Scored?
Students receive a percentile rank, which indicates how well they performed in comparison to their peers in other states. The goal is for all students to score at or above the national average, or 50th percentile, on the test.

I dident like this school i went from 7-8 grade and it wasent a good expricene the theachers did not prepare me for high school and when i went to high school i had no foundation with algrbra and the teachers are very short temper and the kids where bad a lot of gossip and when you tell them a problem they dont do nothing about it and i regert going there

I am a previous student who attended Desert Springs Academy from grades 2-8. Desert Springs is a small school, but that is a good thing, because I was able to get help from the staff members whenever I needed it. Desert Springs not only prepared me for High School, but (because of their accelarated program) made my freshman year alot easier. I had already learned the basic's of Algebra, so that helped me through my high-school math.
