Math and Science Success Academy
The Math and Science Success Academy is wonderful! My husband and I have high expectations for our son and we were thrilled to find a school that offered the same expectations. The children work one year ahead in the Saxon Math program and are offered homework help and tutoring four days a week. The school offers guitar and piano for all the students and the BEST part is they provide all the instruments on campus. The values are traditional and the students are held to a high standard of respect towards adults and their peers. Our child is excited to get up and go to school each day. THANK YOU to the teachers and staff for their dedication to our children.

What is it?
The TerraNova is a series of nationally norm-referenced tests that assess general academic knowledge in core subjects, as well as providing national comparisons.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students in grades 2 through 9 are assessed in reading, language arts and math.
How is it Scored?
Students receive a percentile rank, which indicates how well they performed in comparison to their peers in other states. The goal is for all students to score at or above the national average, or 50th percentile, on the test.

What is it?
Arizona's Instrument to Measure Standards (AIMS) are annual tests used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards.
Which Grades and Subjects?
