Central Park at Morning Star Reviews
My daughter has been enrolled at this school for 2 weeks. My wife is Hispanic and when we went to orientation one of the teachers from a different class room looked at my wife and child and said she should be in her class. I remember reading about this in school. It's called segregation just because one of her parents is from Mexico she is suppose to be in a separate class. I am completely appalled and offended. Why is the same school district that I graduated from treating my daughter differently from how they treated me. I do not support this.
This school and district is not prepared to support special needs children. My son is ASD and the school has not supported him, and claims it is a defiance issue. After speaking with several other parents and advocates, please do not bring your child here at this time. They are behind the times for special needs! Any other surrounding district would be a little better. Don't kid yourself, this is NWA! I wish I would have dug deeper looking for parent reviews. I hope this helps someone.
I love my kids school. Overall the staff is nice, friendly and warm. My child has had a rough time adjusting to kindergarten and the staff has gone above and beyond helping him. The facility itself has all of the state of the art computers, labs and teaching tools. Teachers are up to date on the best techniques to get across to their students. They make it fun and rewarding!
