Ramsey Junior High School Reviews
I am amazed at the amount of ability, care, and attention all of the teachers and administration show each student! The academics are challenging enough to keep my daughter busy, yet not so overwhelming that she cannot enjoy all of the wonderful extracurricular activities offered. The music department truly believes in music education and encourages a love of music, shown by the great instructors and Superior ratings at competitions. Athletics are in great shape, taught by knowledgeable coaches. Cheer and drill are wonderful! GATE, Quiz Bowl and other gifted venues are also encouraged and do well at regional and state competitions. It feels like a small school though the student population is quite large, with everyone taking time to interact with parents and encourage, while addressing concerns!
I attended Ramsey Jr. High( old Ramsey ) the first year it was opened, started the 7th grade. I had attended Peabody Elem. before going to Ramsey. I loved my school years in Fort Smith, very good memories.
I love this school. The faculty and staff are great to work with and the students are Great as well.
