Harrison High School Reviews
I graduated there is 1995, at that time there were no problems that I was aware of. I am very proud of being a Harrison High grad and it saddens me that some feel so negatively about the school and that it has slipped so far if such comments are true.
My child is failing and there is ONE teacher atthis school that cares enough to see that she is struggling! ONE TEACHER. The rest of the teaches are shoving the kids through like cattle in a squeeze chute. They may as well tag their ears. If you don't understand something, TOO BAD! I am not impressed with this school. It's faculty are lazy and uncaring.
my feelings exactly! i will add if teachers taught out of the book like they did when i went to school back in the stoneage it would work better.......and if they see that child is failing a certain subject like 3 years in a row !? they should get help more so when they ask!!!!!
I loved this school, it was a big part of my life, and i miss it very much.
There are several schools outside of the Harrison School District that are more interesed in teaching children. Harrison School District doesn't worry about what it teaches most of the children. If your parent's have money or a child is a gifted athlete, then they will recieve all the attention needed. However, most children do not fall into this category and the teaching staff have no interest in teaching them things to help them achieve their goals.
