Westside Elementary School
Day 3 and already upset with the level of concern for my child's health and well being at this school! My 6 yr old was "punished" for not raising his hand and calling out answers during class and was forced to walk around the blacktop the entire 15 min recess. The next recess the entire class got in trouble and had to do the same. When my son asked for a drink of water he was denied, even though the temperature was around 99 degrees at the time! This is excessive punishment to me! They are in 1st grade! They do not deseve such a harsh punishment the 3rd day of class!
