Clinton Elementary School

This school has a lot of great teachers, and resources for students. But if your child has a 504 or ADHD like my son, it is not the right one, I am in the middle of a 2 year struggle with this school to implement proper modifications in the classroom and have delt with unfair criticism from the principal. Their dicipline strategies are lacking to say the least. Our schools should nurture our children not exclude them because they are different.

my daughter has been going to this school since k-4 and she loves all the teachers and staff. There hasn's been a day go by that she doesn't want to go to school. i have nothing but great things to say about clinton.

Peggy Crotzer: I think this is one of the best Elementary Schools in Sherwood. I'm very glad I got the opportunity to enroll my granddaughter there. The staff is just wonderful, we just love the Principal, Vice Principals, Office Staff and Teachers.

I would have to disagree with the previous post about low tolerance of children with Special Needs.  I have a special needs son and he is receiving the services that he needs.  They have actually gone out of their way to ensure that we as parents are totally involved in his treatment plan.  They are providing more resources than we ever imagined.  I will write more next year when our autistic daughter begins school there.  Hopefully they will be just as helpful then.

There are not many things I can say about this school that are good. Most of the classroom teachers are good, but the schools admin has a low tolerance for children with special needs.
