Smackover Elementary School Reviews
smackover school, I personally think this would be the best school around, due from experience and expertise of the current superintendent, just look at how elementary came out of school year improvement, when he became superintendent alot of parents and former student's were saying he was bias, prejudice, and did'nt care for disadvantage kid's, well i personally got chance to experience this myself every child advantage or disadvantage deserves an education, and through the experience it cut like a knife, because this is public education funded by the state and other organization's but also through my experience i've learned that i have'nt been alone, i've read from mississippi to mexico parents struggle with trying to get thier disabled children the adequate help they need through school sytem's so has my faith been tested over and over again through the school system, yes, will i give up on my children receiving and acheiving, no, do i feel like smackover school is a good school, yes, it say's it's 8% of students that have an Iep students eligible for special service's, my son happen's to be one of those 8%, have two other children that are slipping behind but who care's, I DO, I FEEL PERSONALLY THIS COULD BE THE BEST SCHOOL YET, BUT POWER, CONTROL, EGO, HAVE TO BE PLACED UNDER THE BURNER, AND MORE CONCERN, COMPASSION, HAS TO BE SET FORTH, COUNSELOR'S DEALING WITH BEHAVIOR PROBLEM'S, SELF CONTROL IS A PROCESS WHICH DEVELOPS SLOWLY, AND THE GOAL OF DISCIPLINE IS TO HELP CHILDREN BUILD THIER OWN SELF-CONTROL NOT TO HAVE THEM OBEY ADULT COMMANDS, I'VE NOTICE ALOT ADULT'S HAVE ISSUE'S WITH THAT SELF-CONTROL, BUT TEND TO PUSH IT OFF ON INNOCENT GROWING CHILDREN!!!!!
