About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. See Alameda Community Learning Center's test results to learn more about school performance.
A school's Academic Performance Index (API) is a scale that ranges from 200 to 1000 and is calculated from the school's performance in the Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Program. The state has set 800 as the API target for all schools to meet.

Alameda Community Learning Center Reviews
Very good school
Well I am a student here at ACLC also known as alameda community learning center, and what I think about this school is that it helps you get ready for college. It helps you get ready for college by letting you be independent and to use your time wisely. In college your professors won't tell you to go to class and to tell you when class starts because you will have different schedules. If you don't start to get use to it in 6th grade; you will have much harder time to get used to it. Also at Aclc thy won't tell you to turn it in so you'll have to figure it out yourself, and the teachers ( facilitators) have time after class to talk to you and help you. So my conclusion is Aclc helps you get ready for college.
