Love this school and everyone that went there

I had just graduated around May of this year, and I have to say that this was the only school that I felt accepted in.I was having a difficult time life problems and school related as well.I previously went to another continuation school called Rose City in Pasadena for a while and might I add not the best school. Some of the teachers there were not that supportive or encouraging, and one of the teachers that use to work as a algebra teacher was always absent throughout the entire school year. The students there were very disrespectful and some of them just tried to start trouble for no reason.I seriously hated that school and after awhile I just stopped showing up period not caring about me graduating at all. After a while my mother and i moved to Alhambra and that's when I started going to Century :)I had no problems when attending that school! The other students were cool, the teachers were actually teaching, the counselors were informative, and the other staff members were really nice.I never thought I was going to graduate, but this school changed that.I seriously miss Century :')

I was going to San Gabriel High School, and it was a nightmare. I asked to go to Century on my own, and it was the best school i ever went to. Not only did I complete my credits a year early, but I stayed for my senior year and I had the best year ever... photography, animal husbandry, writing, poetry, screen printing, lithographs, all kinds of art classes... this is what high school should be, small and personal... where it's about the students and not about the dollar. I just wish they had a high school like this for my kids... the best days of my teenage life.

I asked to go to Century on my own. I was attending San Gabriel High School, where I was one of too many, but at century I was one of a few who were taught by great teachers. I not only graduated early, but I enjoyed subjects like: art, jewelry making, photography, writing. It's a great school, I just wished they would have gave me this as an option first, instead of wasting my time at San Gabriel High School.
