My daughter attended North Country from Kindergarten until 3 grade, when we moved I was hesitant about changing schools. I only wish I would have switched her the first year we lived near Oak Hill. Her teacher Mrs. Erickson is A M A Z I N G! At her old school she worked at about grade level or a little bit higher. At Oak Hill she is an advanced student. Her first report card she got seven 5's and five 4's and a couple 3's...The staff in the office is kind, helpful and caring. Mr. Grimes is an awesome leader! We love Oak Hill!

My son has been going to Oak hill Since 1st grade. I had never planned to put him into a public school. He went to a private Pre-school and kindergarten. When we moved to Antelope the parents raved to me about the school and they are a California distinguished school so I figured I'd try it for one year. I have been thrilled with the school nearly without exception. The parents are very involved and the school listens. Parents are permitted to request teachers (very rare with a public school) and I have been able to chose my sons teacher for the last 3 years. They have a lot of family activities as well like Ice cream socials, monthly movie nights, book fairs etc. They have excellent on-site before and after school care and soccer and little league on-site after school. I highly recommend this school.

It is an Awesome school! It was recognized as a California Distinguished School. The API scores are the highest in the district! And they just scored higher!
