Hilltop Christian School has very terrible teachers. Some of them don't even know what they are doing! Half the time when my child came home, I'd ask her
"What do you have for homework?"
And they would say,
"Nothing." This would go on and on for months.
It's ridiculous. They're extra curricular activities aren't even organized well. The students are always getting into each others business. Half of the students don't know simple math and geographical skills. Some of the students come from dangerous family backgrounds. The safety is okay.
The education is terrible. The only thing they focus on is religion. Why don't you call it a religion school? They don't even put emphasis on the basic core curriculum.
I wouldn't recommend anyone to Hilltop.

Kenneth Sharpe: The core values taught at the school are great. This builds a solid foundation for our kids as they set out to face the world. I know our kids are much better prepared to matriculate the secular world having attended their nurturing years at Hilltop.

I have taught at several school and cannot say enough about the Christian atmosphere and quality educational quest at HCS. I love the students and the diversity they bring to the classroom...they represent a variety of Christian and religious backgrounds! In addition, we have students from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds! Academic excellence and safety are some of our top priorities and according to standardized tests the academic excellence standards are being met, and unlike DV there have been no shooting or threats of similar nature at HCS! In addition our class sizes are small, which means that each student has a chance to get to know their teacher and the teachers are able to customize education to meet the needs of that student.

I have had a child in the classes of at least six teachers at Hilltop Christian School and have been very happy with all of them. They begin and end each day with prayer. Each day they spend some time studying spiritual things and on Friday they have chapel led out by the Pastor. The teachers care about the children and provide a great balance of love and discipline. My child has been loved but not spoiled. The academics are strong as well as developmentally appropriate. I'm confident that my child will excel in College and beyond.

I would like to say thay hill top christian is a badly run christian school, it shows no christian values. I was very dissappointed with paying the tuition fee because there is no way that I would pay that much for a school that has poor teaching. That was the whole purpose of me sending my two daughters here to have better education instead of going to Deer Valley. The teachers here are boring and slow thats why it was their last year here at hill top christian.
