Emerson Middle School Reviews
This is a wonderful school, parents have to realize the school is a building were students go to get an education. It is up to the parents and students to make the best out of whatever school they go to. There is problem at all schools, and parents need to begin to take further steps in being a part of their child/children school. Teacher and staff can only do so much do to budget cuts and discipline problem and how they can handle them. I believe they should bring paddling back to the school but with some guild lines. Some parents/Guardian come to the school crusing and talking with disrespect to the office staff, teacher, princpal and others in front of their child/children. Children seeing this are the worst behave students at any school. For the most I can say Emerson is a woderful school to send your child/children to. Remember begin to be apart of your child/children school in the 2011/2012 school year. Take advantage of all the tuturing program, sports, afterschool program and other programs your child/children school may have. Go through your child/children backpac. Read the mail that is mail to your house, make appointments to met with your child/children teachers, attend the back to school night, parent conference and anything else thay offer at the school. Have your child/children to take a grade check paper around to their teacher to see if they or turning in their homework, doing their classwork or to see how their behavior is in the classroom. If you do not recieve this form back call the school and ask to speak with their teachers or make an appointment afterschool between 2:05 -2:45 for Emerson school. If your child/children do not attend Emerson find out your child/children school schedule. Remember you are you child/chidren advicate, if you do not speak up for child/children in a respectful way they will act out in a way to get someone attention. Remember they our your child/children and they need you to be apart of their life, especially in middle school. This is a crucial age for the students and they need someone to look up to. During the summer have your child to read get some work books from the stores to help with reading comperhension and also with math. This will help them during the summer time so they will not forget all that they was taught during the previous school year.
Again I believe in the staff at Emerson Middle School, I know I am a parent with a child there.
It is a horrible school!! They do not take parents' complaints serious. If you are concerned about your child's safety do not allow them to go to this school.
