The teachers try their best, but there is little they can do without the support of the principal. The board needs to replace her immediately. She does not respect the culture of the school or the mission statement of the charter. Teachers are scared to organize and be faced with the unethical dismissals their colleagues dealt with last year. Parents and community members need to step up and take back their school. Protect your child's education and get rid of this awful principal!!!

Lopez: Scores went down. New teachers don't speak Spanish like the other teachers and its important to us parents to feel understood and have respect for are culture. So many people leave last year and I notice it is mostly no other cultures here any more. Maybe they are smart to leave. Teachers just look sad. I want my children to have more challenge and teachers who are friendly. I don't feel welcome at this school any more.

The school has made amazing improvements. There are some incredible new teachers this year. My child loves his teacher and school. He is excited to go to school each day. He is learning so much. The school has wonderful classrooms. The campus is clean and happy. There may have been troubles in the past, but I think that is the past. I love this school.

There has NEVER been a teacher at our school who is not a college graduate. That is illegal. If the comment was referring to teacher's assistants, that is very different. People should make educated comments, not ignorant ones.

THE SCHOOL IS A JOKE. IT CLAIMS TO HAVE RAISED TEST SCORES BUT CONSISTENTLY LAGS STATE STANDARDS. WHO IS MEASURING THE RESULTS AND HOW MUCH MONEY IS BEING WASTED FOR THE MARGINAL (IF AT ALL ) IMPROVEMENTS?
