St John's Episcopal School
4This is a Great schoo, with good changes coming up. This will only get better, and the small class size and great community is incomparable to any school in the area. This is a great place to be, my kids are the happiest!

St John's Episcopal SchoolAs of today one can see that there is light at the end of the tunnel. It looks like we will be getting a new priest and a new principal. It is a great community of parents, teachers (although the best are the newest ones and the oldest ones as odd as that sounds) it is still the best private school in the chula vista area with small class sizes and a dedicated group of parents. Please compare you will love most of the teachers and am sure that for next year it will be the elite school with the long waiting lists that it once was.

St John's Episcopal SchoolSt. John's was a good school but about 2 years ago the school went through big changes in the administration, since them it has became a horrible school. Lack of leadership, pleople working in the administration with no class, education, background in public relations, teachers with no credentials, books are old and updated, the science and math programs to name a few are a joke to few, there is no direction nor goals. The arrogance of the people at the office is beyond limits. I believe they are also having problems with WASC. Make sure you check it out before you enroll your child there, I took my daughter out, it is a horrible school in every area.

St John's Episcopal SchoolThe school lacks the qualifications in curriculum and programs to address the needs of the population in south bay. The inconsistency in programs and changes every year in the areas in language arts including reading, writing, foreign languages, math and sciences in all levels. Teachers lack the expertise and credentials to even teach in a school make sure you check their credentials and authorizations to teach in California. This information is available to the public in CTC website. Every parent should consider before investing in a private school so expensive.

1This School is one of the worst schools in Chula Vista. The administration is lacking leadership, ethics, moral values and credentials. The curriculum is poor along with resources do not have credentials to be in their job. Only 5% teachers have credentials and experience. Make sure you check with state for their credentials and accreditations.

St John's Episcopal SchoolNot as good of a school as it used to be. Bad administration and just like the comment before said not all teachers are accredited with teacher credentials. School also claims they are members of the Western association of Schools and colleges, yes, they might be members but the WASC did find many discrepancies on their curriculum. They also claim small class size but each class is 21 to 24 students per class, in a public school that’s the standard size. We were not getting what we were paying for so we decided to take our children out of this school. The only thing we can say is “buyer be aware”.

St John's Episcopal School
1This school has gone from being one excellent school. The leadership... has decreased in quality and values, also some members of the administration do not have the credentials to be in the position or teach elementary school. Make sure you check the school and teacher credentials in the state this is public information.
