Katharyn Bandoni: We love this school and most importantly, our daughter loves this school, administrators and teachers alike. She comes home happy every day. We had our daughter at St. Louise de Marillac in Covina for two years, wanting a christian based academic environment. Unfortunately, we were beyond dissatisfied and wish we had sent our daughter to Sonrise earlier. Sonrise is a great example of what can happen when a learning environment is positive. They emphasize the true meaning of christian values. The teaching staff is superb. Their committed to their students and practice rigorours academic standards that help prepare the students for high school and beyond. Thank you Sonrise! You've helped our daughter realize her true potential and confidence in herself. We will forever be grateful. Sonrise is an excellent school!

I attended Sonrise from preschool through the eighth grade. I am now a high school English teacher and a Mommie! My daughter is only 8 months old but I know that I will be sending her to Sonrise! Sonrise Christian school has an exceptional program and I can't wait for my daughter to experience all that it has to offer.

Both my children have been enrolled at Sonrise since preschool. My oldest is now in eighth grade and my youngest is in fourth grade. They love Sonrise, and so do my husband and I! I am actually dreading having to send my daughter to high school next year because I wish she could stay at Sonrise. It is a wonderful school with nurturing, loving teachers who love their jobs. My kids have never once said they didn't want to go to school. They thoroughly enjoy it and have made wonderful friends. I would recommend Sonrise to anyone looking for an excellent Christian education for their children.

The school is not very safe to begin with. Indeed, it's playground fences in the back have been knocked down years ago and they never fixed it. The curriculum is very basic. The kids have no music education and in some classes they do not even have P.E. Some teachers are fine and dedicated, but I had one who was very lazy and all she did was complaining of how little the school pay her, how much she disliked art work, and gossiping with the parents about other parents. Furthermore, this teacher only had 4 years teaching experience and seamed to totally dislike her job! I would definitively put no money into this kind of school.
