How do you expect the kids to learn anything when you are feeding junk for breakfast and luch

He stated that they had breakfast funnell cake and breakfast donuts
for lunch pizza and fries. You should invite Jamie to come in an revamp your menus. You rec anough money from our taxes to give the children healthy food

*Concerned Parent*
I have my youngest daughter with Special Needs starting the 6th Grade at Sussman this year and looking at the schools tests scores for the general Ed. really has me worried. As a parent what should I expect from the Special Ed dept? How intune with the Special needs children and their curriculum are the Officials of the Downey School District Special Ed Division? How involved are they? I have high expectations for my daughter. I will be keeping a close eye as to what goes on.

This school is not up to par with the state average scores in almost every measurable category. The numbers speak for themselves, and this highlights the improvements needed in the teaching. It is great that a lot of people think its a good school, but as parents, we should not settle for below average. We should all be asking the responsible people from this shool what is the plan to fix these less than mediocre scores. The teaching needs to be elevated, and curriculum needs to be more advanced than what is currently being offered.
