East Bay Waldorf School Reviews
As a part of a non-practicing half-Jewish family, I haven't found anyone to be "hyper-christian" but am sorry to hear of this person's experience. My son has had an amazing time there for the last 4 years. His teacher is deep, poised, and loving while providing strong boundaries that a strong young man can respect. He has flourished academically, artistically, physically. I have consulting experience with many elementary schools and can't imagine him in one of those test-all-you-can environments. Here he is learning learning, and he loves it. It is true that many of the children have grown up together, so it might be hard for a new person in 6th grade to feel as included as kids who've known each other all their lives...
I used to go here for middle school and everybody is hyper-Christian, judgmental and exclusive towards those who are not part of an established social circle there.
