Stone Lake Elementary School Reviews
Stone Lake ES is a diverse, dynamic and responsive school. The population has changed over the last 3 years and the teachers and administration have openly adapted and welcomed a cultural, socio-economic, linguistic, ethnic, physical and mentally capable diversity of children and families. The goal is to educate our children the best way we can with limited resources and shrinking budgets. Parents, caregivers, teachers and staff have donated, volunteered, mobilzed, engaged and committed to making our school community more "green" by going electronic and paperless with school communications. We are raising money for science camps, maintaining our library, and a technology fund to purchase newer computers, smartboards, and projection equipment for the classrooms. Our API scores increased by 44 points last year. We are at 888!!! Of course we struggle with the current climate around education and funding...but our teachers, administrators and families are amazing and dedicated to the education of our children!
