rchoi: We have a 9-year-old boy and 8-year-old girl whom we have home-schooled through Dehesa Charter since 2008.  We love our teachers at the Encinitas Learning Center.  Previous to that, we were attending the Escondido Learning Center.  Both have great teachers who're loving and creative, as well as knowledgeable support staff.  We especially like the choices of curriculum available to us.  We like the variety of learning center classes available to students.

I love how they let you do your own learning styles to match each of our kids individual way of learning .

I love this school. I am graduating from this school in a few days, and then I will be heading off to college. I think that this school is good for people who want personalized education and attention. I have been to dozens of schools over the years, but this is definietely one of my favorites. There are a lot of opportunities here, including vendors for everything from horseback riding to fencing. In my three high school years here (I am graduating a year early) I have particiapted in a tons of school clubs, including a FIRST robotics team and a Mock Trial team. It isn't necessary for students to attend classes at learning centers, as long as they submit samples to the state, and have a meeting every month with an educational facilitator. However, the learning centers are really fun, honestly positive places, unlike a lot of schools. I would reccomend taking some classes there, or participating in one of the clubs.
