Warm Springs Elementary School Reviews

Failure of Leadership at Warm Springs Elemetary School

By a Parent on

We love teachers and staff at this school. But this review is especially about the school principal Mr. Iwata.

We are not happy with school principal Mr. Iwata. At the beginning of the year he stopped most amazing After School Program, AMP'D with just 2 weeks notice saying that they don't have a city license yet. Same time "Creative Tutoring", another after school program on the campus was running at this school without license.  How were you OK with that Mr. Iwata?

All the parents met with Mr. Iwata and he agreed to give another chance to AMP'D. That was last year in October. Since then, he has tried everything in his bureaucracy book to stall the program. This is huge failure of his leadership. He is playing politics, instead, of thinking about what is good for kids.

I talked to many parents whose kids used to go to AMP'D and they all just love that program. Kids still asking us parents, that when AMP’D is going to start again? That much all the kids love this program. YMCA or creative tutoring is nothing in compare to AMP'D. He is clearly helping out YMCA and Creative Tutoring, because so many kids went to AMP’D that YMCA and Creative Tutoring had barely handful of kids in their After Care.

Mr. Iwata should know that, WE, parents, aren’t fools and we know, that he is slowly trying to kill AMP’D program. But he should know that parents won’t keep quite till AMP’D starts again at Warm Springs School

I hope Mr. Iwata reads this review.
