Jan: IDK whom the previous parent that posted was, but my son was in the same class. The staff is absolutely top notch!! One couldn't ask for a better school, even if you were to compare to private schools!! Just today my husband and I commented on how fortunate we feel to have found Garden Park. Based on the fact that 50% of the students are there on a "parental choice transfer", I'd guess many parents feel the same.

Great teachers who care! Mr. Gerstner is a fantastic principal as is the school secretary, Helen. Everyone is very helpful in the office. The PTA is always coming up with great fundraisers and school activities. They work very hard! Strong PTA. Parents should always volunteer to help in any capacity. Every bit counts! My son loved his Kindergarten year with Mrs. Devereaux and did not want to leave her classroom last year. Love the small school atmosphere. Mr. Tony, the custodian keeps everything nice, clean and tidy. Can't say enough good things about this school. Mrs. Balius, the third grade teacher is wonderful as are all of the other teachers that I know of. You will love it here! I love the cute gardens outside some classrooms.
