Theresa: All of my children have attended CrossRoad and I can't disagree with the prior reviewer more.  One of the reasons I chose CCA was the diversity of both the students and the teachers - the reason I stayed was the absolute dedication and love the staff has shown my family.  Yes, the school has gone through some rough times but that has only served to strengthen everyone.  The curriculum is top notch and this shows in the awards the students garner at district events such as the Science Fair held at Biola University.  Looking for a loving, safe environment where academics are number one - this is the place.

This school is far removed from its roots and is no longer what it was.  School demographics are very very wrong on this site as the school is 98% African or African-American.  Diversity is seriously lacking here.  So is overall discipline.  Many parents that I have spoken with have pulled their children due to issues with discipline, diversity and staff issues.  Too bad.  We need good Christian schools.  Ones that use the elements and teachings and temperament of Christ to teach and guide.  I would not send my child to this school for any reason.

Though I did not send mine to the Ascention School on Prairie in Torrance, it was my first choice above all others in this area.  Excellent.
