As a Bus Driver for tobinworl I find it a great experience taking a responsibility for these special students. I also feel for the parents of these children on a day to day basis. All you have to do is show them love and compassion, it surprized me to see one of my students smile where they do not understand what that is.
As a long time employee of Tobinworld I would like to share what the California Department of Education said about our school. The review team visited in early 2012 and said that Tobinworld is "the best Non-Public school in the state." That is excellent! We work hard to provide a rewarding experience for our students and what a diverse population we have! We have students with autism, learning disorders, and emotional challenges. It is fun and exciting! Our positive behavior program includes an on site Baskin Robbins managed by students as part of our vocational program, a nearby retail outlet, "Tobinworld Treasures", a competitive sports program, and a great Reward Store. The consistent behavior program helps teachers to motivate students to meet his or her individual educational and behavioral goals. Visit Tobinworld at www.tobinworld.org
