the administration trys really hard to have teachers who are the best..teachers leaving every year does affect the students alot and takes away from the "family" however the school focuses on college which is a huge help compared to other public schools. there are students left behind in every school alike this one..not everybody gets to be apart of the 4 yr college experience. alot of the teachers are qualified to work at higher wages but they choose to wrk here the teachers love to teach and that is what is important..being able to go to school and actually learn things that are important in life and  college

I am a current student here at Leadership Public School Hayward, soon to be a tenth grader this upcoming fall. At first, I was a bit hesitant towards attending this school because of the overall image of it. However, once I became a part of the LPS Community, I instantly fell in love with the staff's, the teachers', and all the students' willingness and dedication to succeed. We continue to live by our LPS Mission. I feel this school has a lot to offer. Though it is smaller compared to other schools, and it is still being developed in terms of recruiting new instructors and the extra curriculars here, I honestly have total appreciation for this school. With its small size, everyone practically knows each other, and have strong relationships/bonds with one another. The teachers will stop at nothing to ensure that students receive the best education and high school experience possible. Yes, I know most of the teachers currently teaching here are young, and have very little teaching experience, but somehow, they manage to pull it off, providing all their students with material that is easy to understand. I truthfully feel that everyone at this school gives nothing but encouragement and support for me, and I will strive to return the favor. Did I mention it is one of the highest performing schools in the Hayward district? It's all about the dedication!

This school has way too many staff leaving. Its bad especially when the students are learning and getting used to the teachers.
