James Freeman: Terrible school.Huge bullying problem by staff and students.Principle is very rude.I personally know plenty of parents who have had problems with this school.My child has been a student here for 2 years.We moved here from the city and she has more bullying problems here than in Modesto city schools.Complaints fall on deaf ears.

Lake Don Pedro Elementary School
The school school is small and personable. It's very family oriented, and everybody knows each other. I like smaller schools, and smaller class sizes, but with all the cuts we're losing teachers. So, the class sizes are getting bigger. I would like to see more staff to better ensure the students' learning. The "after-school program" is a positive program. It benefits the students, teachers, and parents. There is a bigger ratio of students turning in homework, and it helps the parents, who who are commuting to work in the city, not have to worry about their children going home to an empty house and not having direction with their homework.Students are proud, and the teachers are happy because students are turning in their homework. The parents are appreciative because their children are getting their homework completed, and they don't have to stress about it while at work.

What is it?
The California Standards Test (CST) is an annual exam used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards. The CST is one of the five components of the STAR Program.
