The school shares a parking lot with markets and dozens of stores such as Albertson's and CVS. They have a small irregular shape area for basketball and games with lots of slanted slope, uneven area as play area and walkway. The outdoor game area is often over-cluttered with kids, and there is no real playground for ball games at the school premise! I am surprised the previous reviewer said there are no safety issues, within or from outside! The lake may look pretty but it is a distraction and nothing more - you cannot access it anyways or do anything with it. Remember your kid is going to school to learn, not to stare at the lake! Academic-wise it is fairly standard curriculum, don't expect your kids getting excited over learning or be pushed in what they are good at.

Cindy: My daughter has attended Montessori on the Lake preschool 3-5 year old class for the past 2 years. I have nothing but positive things to say about the school, her teachers, the staff and the management.  It is an educational environment conducted in a fun loving and relaxed atmosphere. The kids have a great balance between learning and play and the communication with parents on what is happening is always there. I am now searching for a new school due to a relocation, and have forgotten all the problems, politics, safety issues, etc that other schools have..because this school just doesn't have them.
