Lakeside Middle School Reviews
I have a 6th grader who attends this school. The admin staff are satisfactory, as are the teachers. I am not happy with the huge amount of contruction going on while school is in session. There was a small fire yesterday due to construction workers cutting through a live wire. It is unsafe to allow children to attend a school when there is such heavy construction going on, yet it is all just overlooked and we parents are treated as though we are making a bigger deal of it than it is if we express concern over safety issues. Before this school year started, I was told my an LMS admin staff member that construction would be completed by the time summer vacation was over and the new school year began. I would not have allowed my child to attend this school if I would have known that estimate was false and that construction is not actually due to be completed until January of 2012.
This is an amazing school with incredible administration! Their focus on the arts of all kinds really elevates the educational experience to a whole new level! I am looking forward to my children to begin attending this school in two years!
