School Mission Statement
Lemoore Middle College High School is strictly college preparatory program designed for students who are ready for the challenge of college courses within their high school day. We are a charter school and classified as an alternative school of choice with only 240 tudents. The program is competitive with only 60 spots allotted per grade level (9-12). We are located on the West Hills College campus and students take college courses within their regular day beginning their Freshman year.

About the CST
What is it?
The California Standards Test (CST) is an annual exam used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards. The CST is one of the five components of the STAR Program.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in grades 2 through 11 in English language arts and math, in grades 5, 8 and 10 in science, and in grades 8, 10 and 11 in history/social science. In grades 9 through 11, students may also be assessed in math and science, depending on course enrollment.
How is it Scored?
Students receive one of five ratings: far below basic, below basic, basic, proficient or advanced. The goal is for all students to score at or above the proficient level.
About the CAHSEE
What is it?
The California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE) is used to measure student mastery of specific skills as determined by the state. Students must pass both sections of the exam in order to graduate from high school.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Each student is assessed in grade 10 in English language arts and math. Students can retake the exam up to five times after grade 10.
How is it Scored?
The CAHSEE is an untimed pass/fail test. The goal is for all students to pass both sections of the test.

Lemoore Middle College High School
I love this school i also used to go to LHS and i didn't like it either i felt like i couldn't learn anything it felt like i was in a box all the drama and i was only there for a month and a half and was already sucked in to the drama this school is the best thing that ever happen to me absolutly love it you have one on one with teachers and the school campus is small so you won't get lost this school is awsome.

Lemoore Middle College High School
Lemoore Middle College High School was the best choice I ever made. I was at LHS and hated it. Everyone was immature and there was no real focus on education. It just seemed like nobody really cares at a big school. At LMCHS I am challenged and my teachers actually know me and care. I take college classes too. It has been great.
