Bullis Charter School
Incredible school. Teachers are truly engaged in teaching all children. This public charter school fits in core subjects, arts, fitness, social-emotional learning, leadership, self advocacy, critical thinking, project based learning and much more, into their school day of 8:30-3:15. There is optional Choir in the morning, and opportunities to do Extra classes after school. All students take a foreign language (Mandarin) beginning in Kindergarten.

Bullis Charter School
Incredible school and while some folks don't fit with the model of innovation with intensive instruction in core subjects, arts, fitness, social-emotional learning, leadership, self advocacy, critical thinking, project based learning and much more. The public charter school confronts the traditional public school establishment and you'll find folks in that model attacking - but this school shows the future path of public education. Thankfully there is a tremendous community supporting this group - brave enough to stand up against the current of mediocrity.

About the CST
What is it?
The California Standards Test (CST) is an annual exam used to measure a student's mastery of the state's grade-level academic standards. The CST is one of the five components of the STAR Program.
Which Grades and Subjects?
Students are assessed in grades 2 through 11 in English language arts and math, in grades 5, 8 and 10 in science, and in grades 8, 10 and 11 in history/social science. In grades 9 through 11, students may also be assessed in math and science, depending on course enrollment.
