Serra: As a VA employee I was able to get my daughter enrolled there at a discounted rate (VA employee's get 20% off) I am so disappointed in Cherub. There is no warmth that a preschool should have, no laughter, no hugs, it is a free for all with all 30 kids in one group, most of the teachers and helpers are fat 250+ and lazy, when ever I would walk by and look in the fence the teachers are all interacting with each other and not the children. In the morning when I would drop my daughter off at school the two teachers always sat in the same spot talking to each other and I barely got a hello out of them and they never addressed my daughter by name or said good morning to her. I finally decided to remove her from the school even though I live near by, work on the same campus, and get a great discount. My daughter's happiness, well being, and safety is more important to me then keeping her in Cherub.....
I shouldn't have waited this long to transfer my daughter to another school, my first week there the red flags were flying, a Mom was crying hysterically because the day before the Infant teacher forgot to feed the woman's 9 month old son, the two morning teachers just sat in their chairs not offering her a hug or tissue to comfort her. Janelle is one teacher there my daughter spoke fondly of and I did she that she had a heart for the kids by interacting with them in the afternoons.
