Middle-peninsula High School Reviews

Students who attend Mid-Pen come from all over the Bay Area. My son is in 9th grade and takes Cal Train from San Jose and a free shuttle to school from the train station. My son is thriving at Mid-Pen! His teachers are leaders in their classrooms who make the students want to learn.  The small classroom sizes allow the teachers to make a connection with each student and know if they are paying attention (or not).  Social connections that had completely broken down for my son in Middle School are now back on track. He enjoys going to school and talks about what he has learned in every day conversations. He is quite different from the boy who told me, just last year, that people would be embarrassed to be seen in public with him.

"This school has absolutely changed my son's life! He is a brilliant kid who has a learning disability, and the staff absolutely understands his situation and teaches the way he learns! They are so insightful, understanding and capable, I feel lucky that we are part of that community."

"They have a newly built building which is absolutely gorgeous and very well laid out. In general the staff is caring, but firm. Only bad thing is that parent involvement is not encouraged. Yet!!"
