Highland is an overflow school for the surrounding areas and hence all the problems associated with "busing" are present. Class sizes are maxed out and traffic is a nightmare. We also experienced less than qualified teachers because there where so many children that the school was desperate. The campus also has some bungalow style classrooms. But even with the "busing", Highland has many great teachers that really care. Our children have thrived at Highland.
