About This School
Charter schools are public schools, but differ from traditional public schools in that they are independent and are operated by educators, parents, community leaders, educational entrepreneurs, or others. Funding for charter schools is based on designated local or state educational organizations. Those organizations are responsible for monitoring and assessing the quality and effectiveness of education, but permit the schools to operate outside of the traditional public school education system. See Creative Connections Arts Academy's test results to learn more about school performance.
A school's Academic Performance Index (API) is a scale that ranges from 200 to 1000 and is calculated from the school's performance in the Standardized Testing and Reporting (STAR) Program. The state has set 800 as the API target for all schools to meet.
Creative Connections Arts Academy had an API growth score of 845 in 2008. California uses the Academic Performance Index (API) to measure annual school performance and year-to-year improvement. Creative Connections Arts Academy's 2008 base score was 833 and the school did meet its 2008 school-wide growth target.
In 2010, Creative Connections Arts Academy had 24 students for every full-time equivalent teacher. The California average is 24 students per full-time equivalent teacher.

Creative Connections Arts Academy Reviews
this is a great school for the grades of k-5(elementary school). but the junior high and highschool campus is terrible. the teachers are rude. there is almost no challenge, and there are not as many offers as there could be in a public school. i would recommend the elementary school. but not the junior high or high school.
My children go to this school and I am very pleased that they are getting an arts education along with a solid academic education as well.
i went there for 5 years! and the teachers are rude, mean, and they give too much for the students! for even A students! dont let your kids go there!
