My son is in the IHP program and loves it.  The good parts about this public school far outweigh the bad.

My 13-year-old daughter was sexually harassed by a fellow student and when she approached a faculty member regarding the situation she was met with verbal sexual harassment from the faculty member and reprimanded.

Fights break out frequently between students and faculty is typically slow to alleviate the situations. I have gone to pick my daughter up and on at least three occasions I've scene students fighting in front of the school with no adults intervening.

This school is poor about enforcing its dress code and if a school can't enforce a minor rule like that what does that say about the school's attitude towards its other rules.

Walter Reed is not a safe school for children.

"They have a newly built building which is absolutely gorgeous and very well laid out. In general the staff is caring, but firm. Only bad thing is that parent involvement is not encouraged. Yet!!"
