Oakley Sunshine House

My three-year old daughter started at Sunshine House in July 2010.  I was very nervous to leave her as she had never been left with anyone other than family and had not previously been involved in preschool or childcare settings.  From the moment we walked through the door, we both knew it was like home.  She barely had time to say goodbye to me!  I thought about her all day and wondered if she was upset or scared.  Upon picking her up, I realized that she was so ready for school and that the Sunshine House was the PERFECT place for her.  She had found another little family!

The children are in a safe, clean, nutritional, fun, playful, relaxed, and of course educational place.  As an elementary school teacher, I am very impressed with the caliber of the curriculum in regards to Kindergarten readiness.  Everyday my daughter comes home with new knowledge and is so excited to share her findings with me.  She has become an artist, a reader, a scientist, a singer, a dancer, a cook, a mathmetician, and a friend.  She is learning important life skills and being taught independence and structure.  I can go on and on about how stellar this school is.  School is my daughter's absolute favorite place to go.  What an amazing start to her education!!!
