Montessori Child Development Center

Montessori Child Development Center was established in 1978 and is administered by the same director. Marijane Schafer, a trained Montessori teacher and administrator, chooses AMI and AMS head teachers who lovingly prepare the environment and lessons for the children.

   We are a small school where parents and children are treated with respect. The classrooms are neat and orderly with a full complement of beautiful Montessori materials aesthetically arranged to enhance learning. The back yard is much more than a playground with gardens and small farm animals for the children to observe, learn and care for. MCDC promotes individualized learning viewing each child's development and inspiring in them the love of learning.
