As a former teacher at NewBridge School, I can tell you that it is a dream come true for any student who needs a little extra support. Education is truly individualized, as the staff works tirelessly with each student to help him or her find learning strategies that work best for them. Teachers not only collaborate with each other, but also with parents, Speech and Language, and Occupational Therapy, to ensure that all bases are being covered. The team effort combined with such a safe and nurturing environment, allows students to feel confident enough to personally identify their strengths and weaknesses, and to take ownership of their education. To see this happen is nothing short of magic, both for teachers and parents. The campus is beautiful, the kids are happy and relaxed, and nearly everyone who tours the school says “I want to go here!” It was a breath of fresh air to come to work everyday, and the philosophy and attitude of the school’s leaders is nothing short of incredible. I can’t sing its praises enough!

Newbridge is an exceptional school that creates a caring, nurturing and safe environment to support and encourage each child to reach their maximum potential. Newbridge enables children to learn strategies that can be used through out their lifetime. This is accomplished by a small student-teacher ratio with specialty support (e.g. speech therapy and occupational therapy) and more importantly by the culture of the school leadership. My daughter learned everything from how to tie her shoes in second grade to learning strategies she utilizes in high school that enable her to excel and be in the top tier of her public charter high school. We attribute her success to the foundation she received at Newbridge and her diligent hard work.
