John Gill Elementary School Reviews
This school has a community feel and looks like a snapshot of Redwood CIty. However, the staff is teaching to one kind of child-as you know, our town has many types of kids! There is an awful sense of segregation between the multi-age and k-2 classes. It is too bad, because there is a potential for greatness.
The school needs to realize that it isn't teaching the same group of students that it was 10 years ago. They need to adopt state mandated curriculum and start worrying about and changing their test scores. As a new parent, I worry about what will happen in the coming years, when there seems to be no urgency to make change now!
