The entire community of the school is wonderful. The parents are all very involved (there are mandatory working hours for each family). There are lots of social events, play dates, and other opportunities for the families to get to know each other out side of school hours.
The principal Mr. Mancini not only knows every kid at the school by name, but also knows what's happening in their lives at school and at home. He doesn't just say "hello" to the kids, he says "How'd that spelling test go?" or "How's your new baby sister doing?". Like our son's teacher, Mr. Mancini is able to really connect with kids but also maintains order and makes sure everyone's following the rules.
This is a very loving and warm environment for kids.
The only downside we've seen so far is that there isn't much outside space. The indoor facilities are new and beautiful but there isn't a playground on the property so the kids have recess on the blacktop. There are lots of great playgrounds nearby so we just make sure to visit them after school whenever we can so my son gets in enough playground time.
I highly recommend this school.
