Rolling Hills Country Day School
My children have just excelled at this school. We were at a local public school and I was sick of the LARGE class sizes! My kids weren't being challenged and the amount of discipline issues that the teachers had to deal with daily was AWFUL! More time was being spent on that than on learning. We could go back and attend a public local school (and save lots of money!), but it's hard to justify it when my kids love RHCDS and thrive there. It has been worth every sacrifice that we have made.  The school stays current and hasn't cut back, in the last 3 years alone we have seen SMART boards in every classroom, a new PE field/turf, iPads in all the elementary classrooms, and a brand new lower school science lab.

What an amazing school!  My children are so fortunate to have such a warm, nurturing, safe, and academically challenging place to go to every day.  The teachers and administrators REALLY care about the kids and want them to succeed.  I would recommend this school in a heart beat!!

RHCDS is celebrating their 50th anniversary this year.  It's a school steeped in tradition while embracing the rapid pace of technological advances. Their focus is on the whole child, not just the typical academic culture.  They focus on critical thinking skills and character development.  RHCDS values art, music, foreign language and physical education (field, court & pool) as much as they value math, science and language arts.  Most importantly, the campus is small enough for your child to be known . . . really known & seen.  The teachers are amazing, available/accessible and open.  We have been a part of this community for the past 5 years with our 2 children attending since Kindergarten.  We are extremely happy we made the decision to send our kids to RHCDS.
