Oakmont High School Reviews
my kids went through the IB Program and I couldn't be more satisfied. The transition to college was seamless.
Amazing School - Education was top notch for both of my kids that now have master degrees
I think its IB program is very misrepresented. The kids don't get the credit that they should for the difficult classes. IE. if you take an AP class you can take the AP test at the end of the year for credit. In IB you have to take the class for two years junior and senior before you can take the test. Also several of the teachers do not believe that a student is capable of getting an "A" in the class regardless of how well the student has performed. Their idea is the only way a child can get an "A" is if they are capable of teaching the class.... Isn't that what the teacher is suppose to do? Aren't the kids suppose to be learning. If my child is capable of teaching the class why would they take it???? I DO NOT RECCOMEND THE PROGRAM TO ANYONE!!!!
