As a former 2003 graduate, Florin High School was diverse. Furthermore, this school taught me the fundamentals to survive in school, but I give credit mostly to my senior and junior teachers. It was through their teachings that allowed me to grow and become a successful college graduate. I enjoyed the multicultural events that were held. When I recently visited the school, I was quite disappointed in the appearance, but the overall school now does not appear the same as it was in 2003.

As a member of the East Sacramento-Midtown Club I am proud of my association with the school. Our Kiwanis Club sponsors the Key Club on campus. Key Club is where students learn many skills. Club members devote many hours to community service to better their school as well as the city. The students are always wonderful and eager to help us on with our community work as well. It has been a pleasure working with both students and the faculty.
