Review Kit Carson Middle School
Recent Reviews
Four or five years ago there was a change of principals, Mr. Watters and Mr. Turkie arrived. Both principals know all the students there by name. They both do morning, lunch and afternoon duty with the students. I see them both in the morning and afternoon as i pick up and drop off my children. They wave and say hello to parents. I know personally that they get into so much with the students wellness that fights rarely happen there now. Any trouble what so ever and those two are on it.
One of my sons is in the SDC there. The classes he attrends has a total of four teachers/adults between them that know my son well. One set of ladies stand out above all others. Miss Guild and Miss Letie. Those two ladies call the house to check on us or give us good news about our son. Plus if there is any problems with our son out in regular population they are on it. I don't know if the school knows how precious those two ladies are. They bring stuff for their students. I have seen other students drift into lunch to see them too. They provide a safe envorinment for the students in their class. Ms. Lethi tells the students this " The one thing I can't take away from you is your brain. You can only do that by deciding not to use it."
