Luther Burbank High School Reviews
As a former student of this school, I felt that it demoralized me. The problem with this school lies in the fact that it is centered in a somewhat convoluted area.
Believe me, I tried to make the best of my 4 years there. I petitioned and wrote an essay to get myself out of the regular classes into the IB advanced classes hoping I'd be around more students like myself. It was somewhat better, but the general majority of schoolmates lack enthusiasm for education. The few amazing teachers here are this school's only strong point.
Please, unless you have 100% faith that your child(ren) will stay motivated, enroll them in a different school. Don't enroll them here especially if they're female; I've seen too many girls become pregnant at this school.
Overall Burbank is unique high school the teachers that I have met so far really care about our child's education. With educators not being paid what they are worth they still put forth the effort to teach. The administration office and staff has been very helpful. Out of all the budget cuts and cutting back on our child's education Burbank is still holding strong. There is always need for improvement to continue to make Burbank a better school. Remember it is all about the children they are our future.
Luther Burbank Has The Best After School Program In The State! The Staff Are Great. The Teachers Are Very Talented And Awesome! They Try Very Hard To Make Students To Achieve Their Goals And Have a Better Life!
Luther Burbank High School is a very diverse school. I'm a sophmore and have been attending LBHS since freshman year. LBHS is competitive in both Athletics and Academics. The staff is all cool. They try there hardest to try and help students in and out of the class room. To any middle school students I would definatly recomand Luther Burbank in to consideration for your high school years.
