Alisal High School Reviews
Being a public school teacher myself, I completely endorse and love the school experience AHS provides for both of my own two children. It strides to provide students with a well rounded education. I am totally happy with this school and the opportunities it provides by offering AP classes and year round sports conditioning and paricipation.
AHS has kept its poor reputation due to the Ignorant students of others districts whom associate "gangs" with AHS. An unfair association. AHS has the most clean campus and the facilities are uncomperable to any other school city-wide; they have theatre, a pool, a stadium and all of this is in A-1 Condition, imaculate.
AHS students are the most non-arrogant non assuming individuals I have known. I have coached sports for many years in Monterey county and feel at comfortable at AHS whenever we play there.
AHS student body represents, in my view, the high standards of any school in any district anyplace.
The school has a really bad rep because it is located in east side of Salinas yet the school has some of the best facilities (stadium, swimming pool, theater) out of any school in this area. One thing is forsure, no one has more school spirit than the mighty Alisal Trojans!
