I have volunteered at this school for 7 years, and am one of 40 volunteers who come in weekly to help individual students. Our test scores (825 API) show the dedication of the teachers and principal to the childrens success. The campus is a wonderful, safe one, in buildings with wide corridors and sunny classrooms. Many families have all their children at Franklin. This is a community supported school and one that is thriving.

Carol Barker (formerly Miner): I attended Franklin Elementary School from 1st through most of 5th grade. Although this was a while ago, I believe that the quality of education that I received there (excellent) continues to this day. It was, and is, a terrific school

Marilyn Rivas: I used to teach at this school and it is one of my all time favorite schools in the District. I found the staff and children delightful and the facilities are wonderful. There is a true community feeling about Franklin. It is so important to the neighborhood and is a shining star for the Hoover Cluster. But most importantly their test scores show the quality of education that these children are receiving.
